Summer Solstice Lesson - Flatlock Serger Stitch

Flatlock stitching on your serger is used to reduce bulk in seams when using heavy fabrics, e.g., fleece. This stitch is commonly found in stretch sportswear where the inside seam may irritate the wearer's skin. The edges of the seam lay side-by-side and enclose the stitch or can be stitched on the fold to create a decorative surface. In this class you'll learn how to use this stitch to decorate this wall hanging or table runner.
