We are sew excited to have Nancy teaching the Master Your Stripology Ruler – Flying Geese Class! This class is on July 17 @ 10:30 AM-1:30 PM.
In this class you will learn to make the GEasy Flying Geese (4 at a time) and a table
topper. This is a 3 hour class so please be ready to start at the beginning of class.
There will be demonstrations by the teacher and time for you to cut and sew. The teacher will provide all of
you with a test set of fabrics to make your first 4 flying geese.
Supply list:
- 1 yd of background fabric
o Cut the following from the background (BKRD) fabric:
- 9” strip (1) cut into 4 squares that are 9”
-8” strip (1) cut into 3 squares that are 8”
- Save the remaining pieces from the strips and background fabric. We will
cut the rest of the fabric for the table topper in class
- 7inch squares (4 squares) from assorted fabrics that will work with your BKGRD
fabric
- 6½inch squares (3 squares) from assorted fabrics that will work with your
BKGRD fabric
- 1/3 yd of binding fabric (not required for class)
- Master Your Stripology Ruler book
- Stripology Squared Mini Ruler
- Stripology XL Ruler or Stripology Squared Ruler (these are optional but make
cutting fabric for the table topper much faster)
- GE Ruler stickers
- Sewing Machine in good working order
- Basic sewing supplies: thread, scissors, pins, etc
- Rotary cutter (45 or 60 mm) that is retractable. Smaller size cutters do not work
with these rulers and cutters that are activated by pressing down also do not
work with these rulers
-Cutting mat to use by your machine; if you don’t have 1 other options will be
provided to you at class
- Pen/Paper (optional)
- Mini iron (optional) and ironing pad (optional)
