Wanda Quilt Stripology Oct & Nov 2026

Join us for this super fun Stripology class! Everyone's favorite Stripology teacher, Nancy H., will be teaching this adorable project!

Two class project: October 9th and November 13th, 2026.  Class fee includes both dates.

Requires additional Stripology Mixology 2 book (ordering at beginning of September).

Wanda Supply List

   In this class you will learn to make the blocks used in the GE Designs pattern, Wanda.
This pattern gives you the opportunity to gain more expertise with either the Stripology
XL Ruler or the Stripology Squared Ruler. This class is appropriate for confident
beginners to experienced quilters.

   This quilt will be taught over two - 6 hour classes. Please be ready to start (machine
threaded and all equipment set up) at the beginning of class. There will be time for
lunch (30 min). There will be demonstrations by me and time for you to cut and sew.
There is minimal fabric waste using the GE method to make these blocks. In the first
class, we will cover piecing blocks A and blocks B. In the second class we will cover
trimming the blocks, creating the sashing and layout. I will cover a technique that I have
not taught at Annie’s before.

Supply list (required):
 Stripology Mixology 2 (book)-please order from Annie’s if you don’t already have
this book
 Stripology XL Ruler or Squared Ruler
 Clips or other to keep you A and B blocks organized
 GEasy Ruler stickers
 Sewing Machine in good working order with a quarter inch foot or ability to move
needle to achieve a scant quarter inch seam allowance
 Basic sewing supplies: thread, scissors, pins, etc
 Rotary cutter (45 or 60 mm) that is retractable with blade that remains open.
Smaller size cutters do not work with these rulers and cutters that are activated
by pressing down also do not work with these rulers
 Fabric requirements per the table in the book on page 56. This pattern uses 5
inch squares and yardage for the sashing. Feel free to use charm pack(s) or
make your own 5” squares. You can make this as scrappy as you like or you can
complete this with a controlled scrappy approach.
 You do not need to bring binding fabric to class.

Supply list (optional):
 Cutting mat to use by your machine; if you don’t have 1, other options are
available at class
 Mini iron and ironing pad; if you don’t have 1, other options are available at class
 Pen/Paper for notes, you can also write notes on your pattern.

Other:
If you have completed other GE Quilt Designs quilts/table toppers, etc., please bring
them to class for show and tell.
